Filton United goalkeeper, Luke Branson was involved in a crunching tackle with defender Lewis Dyton during training back in late February.

The young shot-stopped has since received x-ray results determining the extent and severity of the injury: the good news is that there is no break or fracture of the bone, which was the initial concern. However, the bad news is that Branson has 'severely damaged the ligaments in his ankle' according to his GP.

It is estimated that Luke will be out of action for the next 7-9 weeks.
